Please note that jobs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis at the discretion of NEC supervisors.?Students are paid for their work via direct deposit on a bi-weekly schedule.
Employment Paperwork and Payroll
If you're a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, you must complete the W-4 and I-9 forms before working on campus.?These forms are available in the Financial Aid Office.?If you're an international student, you must apply for a Social Security Card, complete the I-9 form, and submit tax paperwork in person at the Financial Aid Office before working on campus.
After you complete your paperwork, you'll be added to ADP, NEC’s electronic payroll database.?Registration instructions are emailed to students when their accounts are ready for use.?All NEC students receive payment on a bi-weekly schedule and are required to register for direct deposit.?Our comprehensive student employment handbook can be viewed under the “forms” section of the ADP home page.
